In Leicester, a vibrant dance group is empowering individuals affected by cancer to engage in physical activity within a secure and encouraging setting. These Bollywood-themed dance sessions, initiated in 2022, take place every Thursday at the Belgrave Neighbourhood Centre.
The initiative, a collaboration with Move Against Cancer and Apnapan, focuses on mitigating cancer fatigue through movement. Participants, including those living with and beyond cancer, along with their caregivers and the bereaved, find a place with "no pressure" and "no stress."
