- Doctors removed a 10-12 cm cancerous liver tumor using minimal incisions.

In a remarkable medical feat, a 72-year-old man from Agra has overcome a significant cancerous liver tumor. The patient, Manohar Singh, had a tumor measuring 10-12 cm in the right lobe of his liver.
Doctors at Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital in Noida performed a laparoscopic right hepatectomy, a procedure involving the removal of the liver's right lobe. This minimally invasive technique utilized small incisions rather than a large surgical cut.
The six- to seven-hour surgery, which took place in June, was performed despite the patient's age and co-existing conditions such as cirrhosis, diabetes, and hypertension. These factors added complexity to the operation.
Following the procedure, Mr. Singh was monitored in the intensive care unit and has since shown considerable improvement. Remarkably, he currently does not require any further cancer treatment, marking a successful outcome for this advanced laparoscopic surgery.
