Throughout 2026, Kroger has faced a significant number of product recalls affecting consumers in various states. These safety alerts address concerns ranging from undeclared allergens and potential Salmonella contamination to physical hazards posed by non-food items.
Several food recalls in January 2026 highlighted common issues. Red Bird Farms products were recalled on January 23 due to undeclared sesame. Navitas Organics products were also recalled on January 24 and January 26 for potential Salmonella contamination.
A more widespread recall occurred on March 3, involving Ajinomoto Foods North America products that may have contained glass particles. This recall impacted numerous Kroger-operated stores nationwide, affecting Chicken Fried Rice and Vegetable Fried Rice purchased between March 10, 2025, and March 4, 2026.
Beyond food, a Weber grill brush was recalled on February 27 due to detached wire bristles. Kroger advises customers to return recalled items for a refund and monitor official recall pages for updates.
