Rendezvous Brings Hope to Young Cancer Warriors

On February 14, 2026, the ninth annual event organized by Rendezvous took place at Kolkata's Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre and Research Institute, coinciding with International Childhood Cancer Day. This gathering aimed to bring joy and provide assistance to children affected by cancer and their parents.
To uplift the spirits of the young patients and their families, the event featured a vibrant program including music, recitation, and dance performances. A game show was also held for the parents, with prizes awarded to the winners.
Organizers actively engaged with the children, visiting their wards to distribute essential supplies like notebooks and pencils, along with toys and homemade food. As a gesture of support, Rendezvous presented a cheque for Rs 15,000 to the hospital authorities.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including cancer surgeon Dr. Arnob Gupta, nephrologist Dr. Atanu Pal, cancer scientist Dr. Tania Das, psychologist Mrs. Shikha Dey, and actress Arpita Dutta Choudhury, among others.
