The patient presented with a severely distended abdomen, her uterus enlarged to the size of an eight-month pregnancy due to the cluster of growths. Uterine fibroids, non-cancerous growths, can cause significant health issues. While open surgery is common for such large fibroids to manage bleeding risks, the laparoscopic approach was chosen to minimize scarring and preserve fertility.
