On October 10, 2025, the Commissioner of Karachi, Syed Hassan Naqvi, accompanied by the Deputy Commissioners of Malir and Keamari, visited Landhi and Ittehad Town as part of a campaign to reach children who had refused polio vaccination. During the visit, the Commissioner administered polio drops to 121 out of 436 children who had previously refused the vaccine.
In the morning, the Commissioner visited Landhi Town, where he vaccinated 48 children at the office of the Landhi Association of Trade and Industry. In the afternoon, he traveled to Ittehad Town, where he administered polio drops to 73 out of 263 children who had refused vaccination in Mohammad Khan Colony, with the cooperation of an influential person from the Mehsud tribe.
