She emphasized that each step taken contributes to the continuation of vital hospice care services. Jersey Hospice Care operates as the island's sole hospice, delivering specialist palliative care to individuals with life-limiting conditions without charge.
The daily operational cost for the service amounts to £22,000, with the majority of funding sourced from public donations. Demonstrating strong community backing, CSC, a provider of business administration and compliance solutions, has pledged its sponsorship for the Moonlight Walk over the next three years. This significant support underscores the value placed on the organization's indispensable role in providing compassionate care across the island.
