Clarkson beats aggressive cancer: 'World's luckiest man'

Jeremy Clarkson has declared himself in remission from aggressive prostate cancer, a less than a week after the diagnosis was revealed. The 66-year-old described himself as "the world's luckiest man" following the positive news.

Filmed in 2025, the latest season of Clarkson's Farm documented his battle with the aggressive form of the disease. Clarkson underwent surgery to remove 10% of his prostate, eight months after having heart surgery for blocked arteries. He revealed that an earlier PSA test showed no cancer, but a subsequent check-up indicated the aggressive nature of the illness.

Clarkson shared the update via social media, humorously noting his continued presence in the world and that season six of his show is in production. He strongly encouraged viewers to undergo regular testing, highlighting that it is now a simple blood test. "If there's just one person... who discovers it early, and it's treated, and they lead a normal life, then it's worth being an illness bore," he stated.

While optimistic about his recovery, Clarkson acknowledged the possibility of recurrence and will continue with regular blood tests. Prostate Cancer UK noted that Clarkson's public disclosure would significantly raise awareness for the disease.
