Jenny McCarthy has detailed a severe and ongoing health crisis that began with a failed ceramic dental implant. This initial issue triggered a recurring mouth infection, leading to a series of nine surgeries over the past year. The infection escalated, causing McCarthy's teeth to fall out and resulting in the appearance of unusual growths on her eyeballs. Doctors discovered a deep bone infection in her jaw during treatment.

For a full year, McCarthy was on a strict regimen of antibiotics and a diet limited to soft foods. This limited diet, combined with extensive dental work, contributed to her slimmer physique, which was noticeable in a recent holiday card.
