As of the latest reports, the Salmonella outbreak linked to jalapeños has caused 345 illnesses and 36 hospitalizations. Taylor Fresh Foods has stated that no illnesses have been reported in connection with its specific recalled products. Consumers who have purchased recalled items are advised not to consume them and to return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
