Summary
- 25-year-old Irish woman diagnosed with macromastia
- Her breasts grow excessively each month, now estimated at 25kg
- Spends hundreds on custom bras that break within a month

As of November 17th, 2025, a 25-year-old Irish woman named Summer Robert is grappling with the physical and financial toll of a rare medical condition known as macromastia. This type of breast hypertrophy has caused her chest to become excessively large over time, with her breasts now estimated to weigh a staggering 25kg.
Summer's journey with this condition began at a young age. By the time she was 10, she had already developed a B-cup, and by 16, she had grown to a double J, forcing her to rely on corsets and specially made bras worth hundreds of pounds. Despite seeking medical help for years, Summer was repeatedly dismissed by doctors until she finally received a diagnosis just a few years ago.
In addition to the physical burden, Summer has also endured years of public harassment, ranging from catcalling and judgmental stares to incidents of men groping her or exposing themselves in front of her. She recalls one particularly disturbing incident where a group of men circled her at the gym, simply staring at her while she worked out.
Despite the challenges, Summer has learned to embrace her unique condition, even joking that she could become "one walking boob." However, the financial strain remains a significant issue, with Summer once spending £800 (AU$1,605) on a custom bra that broke within a month, like many of her other purchases.
As Summer navigates this journey, she remains determined to find a solution and continue living her life to the fullest, surrounded by the love and support of her friends and family.
