Summary
- Mouldy vegetables and open dustbins noted in restaurant kitchens.
- Unlabelled food items and pest infestations were common violations.
- Packaged water unit lacked pest barriers and proper licensing.

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation conducted inspections on June 22, 2026, uncovering significant food safety violations across several establishments in Hyderabad. At Kodi Kura Chitti Gare, inspectors found unlabelled raw chicken and desserts, missing water testing reports, and dust accumulation. An improvement notice was issued for hygiene and storage practices.
Kanchi Cafe in Manikonda faced similar issues, with open dustbins, mould on cauliflower, and evidence of houseflies and cockroaches. Records for pest control and water quality were also absent, leading to another improvement notice.
The Natural Aqua packaged drinking water unit in Gajularamaram was found to have inadequate pest and dust barriers. Missing records for pest control and medical fitness, along with groundwater extraction without a No-Objection Certificate, were also noted. The unit's water analysis lacked microbial testing, and its transportation vehicle lacked an FSSAI license.
