Hyderabad Doctor Dies After Pet Cat Fight

A tragic incident has unfolded in Hyderabad where a 23-year-old doctor reportedly died by suicide on Friday evening. The doctor, identified as T Princy alias Shreshtha, was living with her mother and grandmother. Weeks prior, she brought a pet cat home, which subsequently led to her experiencing cold and cough symptoms. This development sparked continuous disagreements with her family, who objected to the cat's presence. The situation escalated, culminating in her alleged death by suicide when she was alone at home. Her family discovered her hanging from a ceiling fan upon their return. Following the discovery, neighbours were alerted, and the police were subsequently informed. A case of suspicious death has been registered based on the complaint filed by the doctor's mother. While preliminary findings suggest a domestic dispute, authorities are continuing their investigation to explore all possible angles. Princy had recently completed her medical degree and was preparing for postgraduate entrance examinations.
