Tammy was moved to intensive care but sadly never recovered and passed away. Her family intends to lodge a clinical negligence claim against the hospital trust.
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust acknowledged the inquest findings and stated that internal reviews led to a number of changes being implemented. The Trust extended its condolences to Tammy's family, emphasizing its commitment to safe and compassionate care.
