As of November 17th, 2025, Duncan Regional Hospital (DRH Health) in the US has implemented Becton, Dickinson and Company's (BD) Alaris electronic medical record (EMR) interoperability with the MEDITECH electronic health record (EHR). This move is intended to improve efficiency in workflows, enhance patient safety, and support clinicians, particularly during the ongoing nursing shortage.
The Alaris EMR Interoperability has been launched at more than 960 locations across the US, and by extending this functionality to MEDITECH, BD will be able to provide enhanced infusion interoperability across all three major EHR platforms in the country. This expansion is expected to benefit healthcare organizations throughout the US.
