- A successful heart transplant was performed on a 26-year-old patient.
- Other organs were donated to hospitals in Delhi and Gurugram.

A vital green corridor, orchestrated by the Delhi and Rohtak Police, successfully facilitated the urgent transport of a donor heart. This critical operation ensured the organ reached its destination within the essential time frame for transplantation.
The heart was retrieved from a 37-year-old individual declared brain-dead at Pt B D Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak. It was then transported to Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in Okhla, Delhi, for a patient awaiting transplant.
A 26-year-old recipient suffering from advanced dilated cardiomyopathy received the donated heart in a successful transplant surgery. The patient is currently under close medical observation in the Intensive Care Unit.
This remarkable event underscores the importance of precise coordination and timely organ transport in achieving successful heart transplants. The donor's generosity also extended to other organs, with lungs sent to a Gurugram hospital, and the liver and pancreas allocated to AIIMS, New Delhi.
