- Center will offer comprehensive, trauma-informed services under one roof.

Harmony Home Children's Advocacy Center celebrated a major milestone with the groundbreaking for its new 17,000 square-foot facility, located adjacent to its current site at 910 S. Grant Avenue. This project aims to significantly expand the center's capacity to serve children and families throughout the Permian Basin.
The new facility is projected to cost approximately $10 million and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2027. Since 1993, Harmony Home has been dedicated to healing child abuse through coordinated services, including forensic interviewing, therapy, and advocacy, serving seven West Texas counties.
The planned center will offer a comprehensive suite of trauma-informed services. It will feature on-site Sexual Assault Nurse Examination (SANE) facilities and advanced forensic interview rooms designed for collaboration among law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, and medical personnel. A community room for meetings and outreach events, and a retail area for families to access essential items, are also included.
This expansion fulfills a vision initiated with a capital campaign that began in 2024. The decision to build a new facility was made after identifying a more efficient and cost-effective option than renovating the existing building. The project represents a collective effort from community members, donors, and foundations to provide an enhanced space for vulnerable families.
