Cancer Healed, Not Attacked: Novel Supplement Trial

Scientists in Mumbai, India, have investigated an experimental approach to treating glioblastoma, a particularly aggressive brain cancer. Their study, involving 20 patients, explored the potential of a simple and inexpensive combination of resveratrol and copper supplements.

The supplement mix, administered before surgery, demonstrated significant biological changes in tumor tissues. Key markers of tumor aggressiveness decreased, and inflammation-linked DNA fragments were nearly eradicated. Notably, tumor growth activity reportedly fell by approximately 33% without any adverse side effects observed in the treated patients.

While these initial results are encouraging, the research team stresses that the study is experimental and based on a small patient group. Larger, long-term trials are essential to validate these findings, ascertain the long-term safety of the supplements, and determine their actual impact on patient outcomes. They caution the public against self-medication, emphasizing the need for a controlled formulation and medical supervision.
