The Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) in Greater Noida has collaborated with the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) to launch a certified digital health course. This initiative is designed to cultivate a skilled workforce adept at navigating the rapidly advancing healthcare technology landscape.
The NABH Certified Digital Health Practitioner (CDHP) course will be offered to healthcare and IT professionals, focusing on critical areas such as Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS), the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), and cybersecurity. The program addresses the increasing need for professionals who can bridge the gap between healthcare delivery and technological innovation.
Brig Dr Rakesh K Gupta, director of GIMS, highlighted the growing importance of digital competencies in healthcare. This collaboration aims to bolster digital health education within Uttar Pradesh, promoting the wider adoption of technology-enhanced healthcare systems and preparing professionals for diverse roles in the digital health ecosystem.
