The specific products involved are Genova Yellowfin Tuna in Olive Oil 5.0 oz 4 Pack and Genova Yellowfin Tuna in Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Sea Salt 5.0 oz. These items were distributed to a limited number of retailers in select states.
Consumers are instructed not to consume the recalled tuna, even if it shows no signs of spoilage. They can return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund, discard it safely, or contact Tri-Union Seafoods for a retrieval kit and a replacement coupon.
