Over the past weekend, health fairs at 36 centers, including 15 urban and 21 rural facilities, provided care to more than 1,500 individuals. Screenings covered common seasonal ailments, chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, and respiratory issues, with serious cases promptly referred for advanced treatment.
Health workers are also actively educating the public on winter health risks, emphasizing precautions against cold exposure and the importance of seeking timely medical attention. Surprise inspections by the Chief Medical Officer have been conducted to guarantee the readiness of health centers, ensuring adequate medicine availability, staff presence, and sanitation.
