21 Sep
Summary
- Two lots of frozen fettuccine recalled due to potential Listeria contamination.
- Products were sold at Walmart stores nationwide across the U.S.
- No illnesses have been reported, but consumers should return product for refund.

A recall has been issued for two specific lots of Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine, sold nationwide at Walmart stores. Gias Foods announced the recall on September 15, 2026, following routine sampling that indicated a potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. This bacteria can lead to serious and potentially fatal infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
The affected products are frozen, packaged in 22 oz yellow plastic containers, and can be identified by UPC #194346442706 and lot numbers L6079C or L6080C, with expiration dates of 09/19/2027 or 09/20/2027. Gias Foods has ceased distribution and is investigating the source of the contamination with the FDA. Thankfully, as of the announcement date, no illnesses linked to this fettuccine have been reported.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled fettuccine are urged not to consume it and to return it to the place of purchase, Walmart, for a full refund. For further inquiries, Gias Foods can be reached via email at sales@giasfoods.com, promising a response within 24 hours. The CDC notes that Listeria symptoms can include fever, fatigue, and muscle aches, and advises seeking medical attention if these develop after consuming recalled food, especially for high-risk individuals.
