The institute's commitment to specialized pediatric care extends to its pediatric diabetes clinic. This clinic caters to children and adolescents diagnosed with type 1 and other forms of diabetes, serving a significant population from Uttar Pradesh and neighboring states. The Pediatric Endo Clinics 2026 event, held on October 17-18, brought together approximately 50 trainees and fellows from across India for a two-day program.
SGPGIMS established its dedicated department of paediatric endocrinology in 2022. This department comprehensively addresses a range of conditions including growth and puberty disorders, thyroid and adrenal diseases, bone and mineral disorders, childhood obesity, diabetes, and disorders of sex development.
