Former Union Minister Shriprakash Jaiswal Dies in Kanpur

Former Union Minister Shriprakash Jaiswal has passed away in Kanpur, succumbing to a prolonged illness. Jaiswal had a notable career in national politics, having previously served as the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and later as the Union Coal Minister.

Sources from the hospital indicated that his health had been deteriorating for some time. Earlier on Friday, his condition took a critical turn, prompting an emergency transfer to the Kanpur Cardiology hospital.

Medical authorities at the hospital confirmed his passing. The Director of Cardiology stated that Mr. Shri Prakash Jaiswal was already deceased when he was brought to the facility, marking the end of a significant political chapter.
