Firefighter/Paramedic Sam Brady swiftly applied the Heimlich maneuver, effectively clearing the resident's airway. Assisted by Firefighter/Paramedics Eric Eszlari and Rich Yunker, and Captain Seth Hamilton, Brady's efforts ensured the victim regained normal breathing. The timely arrival at the fire station proved critical for the man's survival.
Norfolk Fire Chief Erron Kinney commended the firefighters for their decisive actions, emphasizing their rigorous training prepares them for any emergency.
