Summary
- One in 10 online pharmacies see websites copied by fake jab sellers.
- Nearly two in five pharmacies encounter patients with fake drugs.
- Regulators' logos are copied by counterfeit sellers to deceive patients.

A survey has revealed that roughly one in 10 online pharmacies in Britain have had their websites and social media accounts impersonated by platforms selling counterfeit weight-loss injections. The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) is urging patients to be cautious of providers offering medication at unusually low prices, highlighting that almost two in five pharmacies have encountered patients who unknowingly purchased fake weight-loss drugs over the past year. These unregulated providers have even replicated official regulator logos to mislead consumers, with one pharmacy discovering its cloned presence after a patient bought a quarter-cheaper counterfeit Mounjaro.
