The King Thunderbird Centre provides critical health services such as primary care, wound care, and pregnancy programs, alongside mental health and addictions support. It also offers essential amenities like showers, laundry, and meals, addressing immediate needs for those experiencing homelessness.
The $49.5 million facility, which had a soft launch in November, has already served close to 1,000 people. It replaces Boyle Street's former location, offering a more effective and modern environment to foster a sense of belonging and hope for community members.
