Tributes are pouring in following the tragic death of Dr. Grace Molloy on Wednesday. Dr. Molloy, who hailed from Bray, was working as an intern at University Hospital Galway. She passed away at Beaumont Hospital following an accident.
Dr. Molloy graduated from University College Dublin last summer and commenced her internship in June 2025. Colleagues remember her as "a beautiful young lady, inside and out," noting her kindness, helpfulness, and dedication to her patients.
A classmate shared that Dr. Molloy was "great fun" and "loved being part of the UCD class of 2025." Friends described her as "one of the happiest, funniest, smartest and fun-loving people," whose contagious laugh lit up every room.
Her funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 10:30 am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Bray. Burial will follow in Redford Cemetery. The family has suggested donations to Beaumont Hospital Foundation and Organ Donation Ireland.
