Donna, aged 58, was motivated to change her life after losing both parents within a nine-month period. At 23 stone in November 2022, she recognized the health risks of her weight.
Her journey began with a gastric sleeve procedure that reduced her stomach size by half. This was followed by a year on Mounjaro, leading to a significant weight loss of 12 stone, bringing her to 11 stone 2lb.
Despite reaching her target weight, Donna was left with excess skin around her abdominal area. Plastic surgeon Dr. Dan Marsh explained that significant weight loss often results in skin that has stretched beyond its capacity to retract.
To address this, Donna opted for a 360 body lift, a comprehensive procedure targeting the entire midsection. In August 2025, she underwent the four-hour surgery, which removed 3kg of skin and 1kg of fat.
Recovery was smooth, and within weeks, Donna was back to her routine. The surgery has dramatically improved her confidence and quality of life, enabling her to wear new clothes and enjoy activities like sunbathing in a bikini.
