Summary
- Brady Engel, a Dolphins employee, will ride in his 6th DCC.

- The Dolphins Cancer Challenge aims to raise over $100 million for cancer research.

The 16th Dolphins Cancer Challenge is scheduled for February 28th, with participants preparing to raise over $100 million for cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Brady Engel, Director of Business Solutions for the Dolphins, will participate for the sixth time.
Engel, who was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma in 2020 while working remotely from California, found support from his colleagues even across the country. After his first battle and stem cell transplant, the DCC became a recovery target. He will now ride 39 miles, recently cleared by scans as cancer-free.
Having moved to South Florida, Engel finds meeting his supportive colleagues deeply meaningful. He faced a recurrence in late 2024 and received treatment at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, undergoing another stem cell transplant in January 2025. His first public appearance post-transplant was the DCC in February 2025, a moment he described as magical.
This year, Engel's girlfriend will also be involved, assisting with on-site skin cancer checks. The event underscores the Dolphins' dedication to the 'One team, One fight' motto, uniting in the battle against cancer.
