The attack resulted in a severe facial injury to Savannah, requiring immediate hospitalization and subsequent surgical procedures, including a synthetic skin graft.
Savannah, now two years old, is scheduled for a final operation next month to address scarring from the incident. Remington was euthanized following the attack. Heather urges parents to remove any aggressive pets from homes with children, emphasizing the potential danger.
