A gastroenterologist from Richmond, Virginia, reported an astonishing experience of waking up with a live bat inside her mouth. Dr. Krista Edelman described the event, recounting that she had been dreaming of a small mouse attempting to enter her mouth.
Upon waking, she realized the bizarre dream's reality. She managed to grasp the creature, folding its wings. She and her husband subsequently captured the bat to send it for rabies testing by animal control officers.
