Dhanya, a nurse involved in the surgical team, have both been suspended.
The suspension orders were issued on Friday night. This decision was based on a preliminary inquiry report submitted by B. Padmakumar, the Principal of Government Alapuzha Medical College. Dr. Shahida is currently an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at SAT Hospital, while Ms. Dhanya serves as a Grade 1 Nursing Officer at Alappuzha Medical College.
