Daya General Hospital in Thrissur has achieved Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, a globally recognized standard for healthcare quality and patient safety. This makes it the first hospital in Thrissur to receive this distinction, joining an elite group in India. The rigorous evaluation from January 13 to 16, 2026, assessed numerous critical areas of hospital operations and patient care.
Dr. V.K. Abdul Azeez, Managing Director, stated that the accreditation reflects the hospital's commitment to safety and continuous improvement, aiming to provide world-class healthcare locally.
