Cancer Survivor Dave Coulier Fights Toxins
6 Apr
Summary
- Coulier battled two unrelated cancers, non-Hodgkin lymphoma and tongue cancer.
- He discovered widespread toxins in everyday products affecting his health.
- He launched Awear Market to support small businesses with clean products.

Dave Coulier, a two-time cancer survivor, has become an advocate for a less toxic lifestyle after his health battles. The "Full House" star discovered that many products he used daily, from toothpaste to skincare, contained harmful chemicals that impacted his well-being. This realization prompted him to make significant changes, starting with one item at a time to manage the daunting task of lifestyle reform.
Initially diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2024, Coulier later learned he had unrelated HPV-related oropharyngeal tongue cancer in October 2025. These diagnoses came after a challenging period of treatment and recovery. Following intensive targeted radiation, he announced in February 2026 that he was in remission from both cancers, a journey he described as a "roller coaster ride."
Motivated by his experience, Coulier aims to help others by encouraging early detection and healthier living. He founded Awear Market, an online platform that supports small, U.S.-based businesses producing natural soaps, shampoos, snacks, and other goods. This initiative allows him to lead a movement toward mindful consumption and healthier choices for consumers nationwide.
