Teen Finds Mom Dead Hours After Doctor Visit

A 38-year-old mother, Louise McKenzie, was tragically found dead in her home by her teenage son on Christmas Day. This devastating discovery occurred shortly after she had visited a doctor on Christmas Eve and received a diagnosis of an inflamed pancreas, which she was told was not serious.

Despite the diagnosis, Louise had been feeling unwell with dizziness and a headache before resting. Her son, Reece Barrett, later found her unresponsive on the bathroom floor. Despite his attempts to perform CPR, paramedics later pronounced her deceased at home. It is now believed she may have died from a brain hemorrhage.

Reece, who described his mother as a 'lovely' and 'people person,' is now facing significant challenges. A GoFundMe has been initiated to help him with living expenses and accommodation following his mother's sudden passing.
