Ancient Chinese Medicine Boosts Births for Older Moms

A significant advancement in reproductive medicine has emerged from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Zishen Yutai, developed by Guangzhou Baiyunshanzhongyi Pharmaceutical, has demonstrated a notable capacity to enhance live birth rates among women aged 35 and older undergoing fresh embryo transfers.
The clinical research, published in January in the prestigious journal Nature Communications, revealed a relative increase of nearly 23 percent in live births for this demographic. This marks a landmark occasion, as it's the first time the journal has featured clinical research on TCM's application in reproductive health.
