Flu activity in China has been on a downward trend for the last two months, reaching a low level as of February 10, 2026. Positivity rates at sentinel hospitals, reported cases, and infection clusters have all decreased. The H3N2 subtype of influenza A continues to be the predominant strain. Concurrently, the proportion of the Victoria lineage of influenza B has shown a slow increase.

Positivity rates for other monitored respiratory pathogens, including the novel coronavirus, generally remain low, indicating a broader decrease in respiratory illness circulation.
