One two-and-a-half-year-old experienced impaired speech and interaction, which improved significantly after screen exposure was halted and replaced with therapy and caregiver engagement.
Experts strongly advise strict screen time boundaries: no screens for children under two, one hour daily for ages two to five, and one to two hours for ages six to twelve. Encouraging at least one to two hours of daily outdoor play is crucial for physical and mental well-being, ensuring technology remains a tool, not a dependency.
