Summary
- Over 500 women screened in a single day for cervical cancer.
- Guinness World Record set for highest number of samples collected.
- Initiative aims to boost early detection of preventable cancer.

In a significant public health achievement, Novaneo Hospital was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for collecting the highest number of cervical cancer screening samples within an eight-hour period. This record was set during a large-scale screening camp held on Wednesday at the hospital's campus in Budh Vihar, Delhi.
The initiative, a collaboration between Novaneo Hospital, Delhi Cancer Hospital, and the All India Terapanth Mahila Mandal, successfully screened over 500 women between 9 am and 5 pm. The primary goal was to address cervical cancer, a prevalent and preventable malignancy in India, by facilitating early diagnosis.
Medical teams provided comprehensive care, including sample collection, counseling on risk factors and warning signs, and guidance for follow-up treatment. The event highlighted the effectiveness of hospital-led outreach programs in connecting community health needs with clinical expertise. Novaneo Hospital's advanced neonatal care facilities and Delhi Cancer Hospital's accessible oncology services underscore their commitment to public health.
Both institutions plan to continue organizing similar outreach events across Delhi to expand access to early diagnosis and quality medical services. This effort marks a stride in preventive healthcare and community engagement in the region.
