The training was a collaborative effort between Cannock Chase District Council and Owen's World, a charity established after a tragic fatal stabbing incident in 2022.
The initiative aims to empower local individuals with immediate life-saving skills, enabling them to provide critical assistance while awaiting professional medical help. NHS-trained paramedic Ashley-Jordon Parker-Trigg led the training, ensuring participants learned to use the bleed kits correctly and safely. This program builds upon the council's prior action of installing six additional bleed kit cabinets throughout the district earlier this year.
