Ms. Locke's treatment involved chemotherapy and radiotherapy, commencing in November 2021. Tragically, she experienced a severe allergic reaction to her chemotherapy medication, causing significant swelling and necessitating nine days of close hospital observation. During this critical period, doctors managed her condition, preventing a potentially fatal outcome.
Despite the challenging treatment, which included painful radiotherapy burns, Ms. Locke was declared cancer-free in August 2022.
