Canada's federal government has announced a comprehensive initiative to address the health of men and boys, launching a "national conversation" to inform a new strategy.
Health Minister Marjorie Michel stated that these critical issues have been "too often overlooked, misunderstood or ignored." The strategy, expected later this year, aims to foster supportive environments, challenge stereotypes, reduce stigma, and encourage men to seek help.
Canadians can participate by filling out an online questionnaire from March 2 until June 1. Partnering with Movember Canada, the government is also collaborating with parliamentarians, provincial/territorial bodies, and community groups.
