A family in Godalming, Surrey, is urgently fundraising to fulfill their daughter Brooke's dream of visiting Disneyland Paris. Brooke, who is four years old, was diagnosed with a low-grade glioma brain tumor in November 2025 after initial concerns about her 'lazy eye' in February 2024 led to further investigation.
After a series of tests and treatments, including glasses and a patch, Brooke's condition worsened, leading to an emergency MRI. This scan revealed a shadow behind her left eye and two shadows on her brain. She is currently five months into a 70-week chemotherapy plan.
Despite the tumor not having changed in size, doctors have delivered the devastating news that Brooke will eventually lose all vision in her left eye due to nerve deterioration. Her parents are unable to remove the tumor as it is attached to a nerve, and treatment focuses on preventing its growth.
With reduced working hours for both parents, they are relying on a GoFundMe campaign to fund a trip to Disneyland Paris. This special trip aims to create cherished memories for Brooke, who loves Disney characters and dreams of meeting Elsa.
