A notable initiative screened approximately 15,000 women, revealing that nearly 10% had cancer, highlighting the urgent need for early intervention. SVIMS Director Dr. R.V. Kumar affirmed the institute's comprehensive capabilities in diagnosing, screening, and treating breast cancer cases.
SVIMS offers state-of-the-art equipment, including mammography, ultrasonography, breast MRI, and Pet-CT, to aid in early detection.
