An 11-year-old boy has successfully raised £120,000, enabling 26 families to experience the magic of Lapland during the festive period. Tony Hudgell, who is a double amputee due to injuries from his birth parents, spearheaded this heartwarming initiative through his foundation.
Following his own transformative visit to Lapland two years ago, Tony was determined to share that experience with other children who have been affected by abuse. The Tony Hudgell Foundation's campaign resulted in a 'trip of a lifetime' for 61 children and their families, offering them a chance to create cherished memories.
Families expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity, with many highlighting the positive impact the trip had on their children's well-being. Activities included searching for Santa and enjoying winter wonderland experiences, providing a much-needed escape and a sense of joy for these young individuals.
