- Suffered severe pain, arthritis, and required multiple surgeries.

A woman's pursuit of cosmetic enhancement led to a devastating health crisis, including paralysis, after a breast augmentation procedure in 2016. Dissatisfied with her B-cup size, she opted for surgery in Miami, Florida, but received implants one size larger than requested and poorly placed. By 2021, she began experiencing severe, unrelenting pain that doctors initially dismissed as stress or psychosomatic. Her condition rapidly deteriorated, progressing to arthritis and eventual paralysis, rendering her unable to stand, walk, or sleep. Medical professionals were baffled by her unique and severe symptoms.
Years of suffering and failed treatments continued until a chiropractor identified the cosmetic surgery as the root cause. An MRI confirmed a ruptured left implant with silicone leakage throughout her body, necessitating an emergency removal in December 2022. The complications extended beyond the implant removal, requiring two hip replacements in 2023 and open-heart surgery in March 2024 due to an aneurysm. These extensive medical issues have left her with £11,000 in debt, forcing her to sell possessions and her parents' apartment. She now shares her story to warn others about the severe risks associated with cosmetic implants.
