HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG) has inaugurated a new, advanced cancer hospital in Bengaluru's Byatarayanapura. This comprehensive facility, spanning 175,086 sq. ft., is equipped with 110 beds and represents a significant investment in cancer care infrastructure.
Karnataka's first Elekta Unity MR-Linac, a cutting-edge radiation therapy system, is a key feature, enabling precise treatment by integrating MRI imaging with a linear accelerator. The hospital also houses robotic-assisted modular operating theatres, dedicated chemotherapy beds, and a 15-bed intensive care unit.
Dr. B. S. Ajaikumar, founder and Chairperson of HCG, emphasized the increasing reliance on technology and data in cancer treatment to enhance long-term patient outcomes. The hospital aims to manage advanced and metastatic cancers through personalized, multidisciplinary approaches.
