These actions follow a Public Interest Litigation that raised concerns about inadequate treatment for children and severe overcrowding in local hospitals. The petition indicated that a 50-bed hospital was accommodating around 400 children, exacerbating the crisis amidst alleged widespread unsanitary conditions contributing to the infections.
