Baby's Finger Cut During Hospital Discharge

A serious injury to a six-month-old baby's finger has led to a police case against Chinmaya Mission Hospital in Bengaluru. The incident reportedly occurred on February 24, during the infant's discharge process.
The baby's father alleged that a nurse, while removing an IV drip, accidentally cut his son's left little finger. This caused significant pain and injury to the infant.
Following the incident, the parents sought emergency care within the hospital. The father has filed a complaint with the Indiranagar police, who have registered an FIR against the nurse, doctor, and hospital management.
The FIR charges them under Section 125(b) of the BNS, pertaining to acts endangering human life or personal safety through negligence. The father accuses the hospital of negligence and seeks legal action.
